Jiaogulan – The immortality herb

One of my favourite perennial herb is called Jiaogulan. Jiaogulan is a plant that grows wild in China as well as many other Asian countries. In China it has been used for many years as a medicinal and energizing tea.

Research studies in China have shown that Jiaogulan decreases cholesterol and improves the metabolism. The Chinese also call it the immortality herb because of its rejuvenating properties and it’s ability to help the body resist stress.

The leaves have a slightly bitter taste and I use them in tea with honey.

  1. Wonderful blog! Do you have any helpful hints for aspiring writers?

I’m planning to start my own blog soon but I’m a little lost on everything.
Would you advise starting with a free platform like WordPress or go
for a paid option? There are so many choices
out there that I’m completely confused .. Any ideas?

    Many thanks!

    1. Hi,

I only started my first blog myself a month ago and it doesn’t have much content yet. I advise a free platform to start off and as you progress and if you see you like working on it, I’d say you can still get an upgrade later on.
      Good luck.
